Pont des Arts bracelet
White gold, diamonds
Let’s continue our journey through the French city by visiting the famous Pont des Arts bridge and taking a closer look at its depiction on this precious bracelet made in 2006.
It was made as part of a High Jewelry collection named Une Journée à Paris (A Day in Paris), in which Van Cleef & Arpels celebrated its city of origin.
As part of this collection, the Pont des Arts bracelet features a Parisian pedestrian bridge, which crosses the city’s iconic river, the Seine. The bridge is famous for linking the Musée du Louvre with the Saint-Germain-des-Prés neighborhood, known for its artistic and cultural spirit.
Highly flexible, the openwork piece is made of curvy motifs evoking waves, while the round diamonds imitate light reflecting off the river. Three architectural elements adorned with calibrated diamonds, offer a stylized representation of the bridge. With its dynamic design, the bracelet illustrates the Maison’s quest to impart movement to precious materials in order to create vivid landscapes.
